National Energy Board to hold public hearing to consider Enbridge's Line 21 Segment Replacement Project


The hearing will include a written process with an oral portion including cross-examination and argument. The NEB will also hear oral traditional evidence from Indigenous participants. The hearing will be broadcast in English and Dene Zhatie.

Vancouver police step up enforcement in support of roadside worker safety


Today, the Vancouver Police Department is partnering with the Work Zone Safety Alliance and WorkSafeBC to kick off the seventh annual B.C. Cone Zone Campaign with an enforcement blitz at a roadside worksite on Burrard Street in Vancouver. Last year, one roadside worker died on the job and 21 were injured and missed time at work.

Parkland County is pleased to announce that Pinnacle Renewable Energy Inc. will be constructing a new $85 million wood pellet plant in the hamlet of Entwistle.  This will be Pinnacle’s first plant built in Alberta.
